I make 90% of the decisions in my home... I pay the bills, home school the four kids (sure fighting for my decisions along the way - lol)... I work from home while balancing a small farm, food in the house, meals that people don't hate....
So I'm going to let you in on a secret...
I often give up control.
I'm an A-Type/Hippie. A bit crunchy, a ton sparkly. I love giving my hair stylist control of what we will be doing, how I'll look (she took my 40"+ of hair, in one fell swoop, and I haven't regretted it since!). One of my BFF's hears, quite often, that "I'm not emotionally invested/attached" to some idea or look - to her dismay!

I adore a good masculine card. My husband said men like it simple, clean and less words to read.
Hmm - OK so - BAM!
Here is EVERYTHING everyone decided on
(or voted for - it got a little heated - lol!):
~ We inked the Lovely as a Tree image in the Mint Macaron ink pad.
~ Created a multicolored image with a Thumping Technique - using the Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker and thumped the side along the leaves to darken and crate a multicolored image.
~ Using the Soft Suede Stampin' Write Marker to color the trunk ink.
~ Sponged for a varied layer of colors - using our Stampin' Sponges around the edge of the stamped card stock. One layer in Mint Macaron, then Old Olive and then finished in the Soft Suede.
(So many fun techniques come together for this card!)
~ Frame in the Natures Poem Designer Series Paper with Stampin' Dimensional adhesive.
~ Tying the TWO Baker's Twine in the Mint Macaron and Crumb Cake around the Soft Suede card.
~ Stamp the greeting from the Well Said stamp set in the Soft Suede ink (don't miss this BUNDLE Savings!!).
