I will miss you..

Here is the good, the bad and the ugly...

So here is the ugly.... 
Some things in life are painful... but in the end are sooo amazing.
Today is my son's 16th birthday.  This handsome, green faced young man is 16!  I became a MOM 16 years ago.... and it is a dream come true!!

24 hours and 5 minutes of hard labor and I became a mom... well, after 9 months of growing this guy inside of me.

Today is his official 16th birthday!
He still fits in my lap even!

I will NOT be on my LIVES tonight....
Having taken and surprised my son on Friday with friends and lunch, then Saturday with the car show and vintage rides to the Porsche Experience and then the TobyMac Hits Deep Tour...
(Whew - I am EXHAUSTED!)
We are chilling, eating an amazing dinner and celebrating this guy.
If you don't know him... he's been on several of my Facebook.com/GettingCrafty.net lives and loves greeting those who come to my in-person classes.  He's a loving, funny, smart, passionate, adorable young man.  He loves God, his family and friends.
He is my dream come true.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
