From My Heart to Yours... World Heart Day

We take it for granted... the stead thump of our heart.  The rise when we are excited or have gone on a good walk to the tears it holds when we are sad... our hearts.  We take it for granted until it stops.  Today is #WorldHeartDay and as I'm off to a day of homeschooling (where we are in a CoOp class and I teach 10th graders) I wanted to create a quick handmade card to honor this vital organ and those who have had a loss when it stopped.

This reminds me of the comforting tap my heart plays....
~  Punching the Heart Punch in the Poppy Parade - spread across a 4"x5-1/4" Whisper White cardstock, adhering with Stampin' Seal.
~  Trim off the overlap with our Paper Snips.
~  Stamp the Heartfelt greeting in Memento Black Ink on one heart.
~  Adhere the Gold Foil scalloped heart and stamped heart together and to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
~  Add WINK because our hearts are special like that.
~  Adhere over the Thick Whisper White cardstock base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Easy but pretty.
Clean, Easy, Elegant and it's sure to make one's heart patter a little more.  I am grateful that we don't have heart issues in my family but I know.. when the heart stops.. so does a bit of our world.  If you are a survivor or have lost a loved one.. my heart goes out to you.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone.
