Handmade Gift Bag and Christmas Card

Creating during this holiday season is a wonderful way to escape your reality! It is not too late to create a handmade Christmas Card and here it's highlighted with a custom hand crafted Gift Bag. I ADORE this Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper and this fun trick here highlights the card as an additional embellishment.

A stunning Joy to the World declaration...

~ Die Cut the Night of Navy and Whisper White card stock with the Christmas Layers dies.

~ Score the Balmy Blue card stock at 5-1/2", cut at 4-1/4".

~ Adhesive the Night of Navy (4"x5-1/4") and Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper (3-3/4"x5") to the card front with the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

~ Stamp the Itty Bitty Christmas greetings in Night of Navy ink.

~ Adhere the snowflake die-cuts to create a fun blustery layer.

~ Tie a bow with the Snowflake Splendor Iridescent Ribbon.

Create a handmade gift bag:

~ Stacking the Two matching Designer Series Paper on top of each other.

~ Score the 'top' at 1-1/2"

~ Punch, with the Classic Label Punch, a slot across one 'top'.

~ Score the three other sides at 2"

~ Cut the bottom, Impress with the Bone Folder and adhesive them together with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

~ Tie a ribbon handle.

She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by.
