It is December y'all...
November has us pause to show our Thankfulness...
and it's a beautiful thing.
December and the holidays can be hard on many...
I'll share that I can struggle with depression and anxiety - I find myself diving into my Bible and Prayer even more during this season.
Today I posted, on Facebook, a photo of my mom (who'd passed) from 9 years ago with my kiddos...
Last year we suddenly lost my Mother In Law the Friday before Christmas...
Thinking on the losses of our families.. my father, my grandparents...
The challenging season of shortage in supplies, tight money, big dreams of my children for Christmas gifts, the news, media and insanity of our world.
I just wanted to PAUSE. Can we just hit the Pause Button?
Kindness is FREE!
I'm also SUPER Selfish...
I find that the more I do for others, the more I serve and love on others, that my own stress, sadness, anxiousness will just disappear.
So today I created this and maybe, just maybe, you need it as well.
I thought I'd share, also, what else I'm doing...
(Not bragging, I just thought you'd enjoy some ideas.)
Basket of snacks for my delivery people in a little basket (it isn't hard to know when packages should be arriving, just taking a moment to check!)
(I usually do this with cold waters and pop in a cooler during the hot months.)
Donating handmade cards to retirement homes, children's hospital wards locally and the veterans building.
Love the Advant of kindness chart!❤️
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful. I just printed it and will put it on my work desk (my dining room table) so that I can carefully do my kindness and then decorate that little box with a holiday stamp. I think we all struggle with the demands of December and then throw in major losses of loved one (I lost my dear father-in-law on Christmas Eve none years ago). I am so sorry for your losses. May the many blessing be upon you and your family.
