Update and Personalize a Hobby Lobby Sign with a Dollar Tree Find!

I Love Decorating for the holidays! Seasonal decor brings joy and festivity to the seasons, in my opinion. I am having MORE fun in our new home in Indiana... our 1800's Craftsman home is in the heart of our sweet town... with many walkings and driving by that we have.. it makes me WANT to welcome the community with cheer.

One of my FAVORITE Places, besides our local florist Tricia at Mazie's, to find beautiful and seasonal home decor is Hobby Lobby. I dig these long signs for the windows that surround our front door. Changing them out seasonally is also adding to the struggle to STORE them (as well as buy them!). Soooo, with this help from the Dollar Tree.. I created a fun Personalized accent that we can change out as we deem fit! This video is easy and fun... I hope it inspires you as well, in my Getting Crafty Minute!

Hearts... they ABOUND during Valentine's up to.. here with the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper it's a vintage nod to the childhood memory of Conversation Hearts!!

The original small hearts were just too small for this sweet sign and it's wreath. I grabbed the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder and with the pretty paper created this larger heart to accent the small ones.

I LOVE this quick and easy addition.. the versatility to change it up seasonally is a HUGE Bonus! Isn't it sweet that paper is for sooo much more than just card making and scrapbooking??

Good 'Ol Dollar Tree for these sweet finds! VELCRO y'all!! I love it! It is so versatile, retro - reminding me of my youth - and easy to use! For $1.25 (inflation - ugh!) you score a ton of these babies in just ONE packet! These adhesive back babies will allow for me to have a ton of decoration options!

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by.
