Volunteering with the Friends ministry has brought soooo much joy into our lives! Little did I know that when our Pastor and the leaders - Mark and Risa - stood before our congregation asking for help... that this would change our world in the best of ways! Meeting those who attend the Friends group (of limited ability people and their families) and those who volunteer has been such a bonus blessing! Jay and his wife Alex are from So. Cal, much like us, and have become sweet friends and are expecting their first baby! So, along with the Friends volunteers and members... we are throwing them a surprise baby shower tomorrow!

With their doing a Farm themed nursery... our On the Farm and Day at the Farm collection is just sooo perfect! Combine with the Alphabet a la Mode to personalize this for the much anticipated little one.
Layers and floating daisies?!? YES! I love that this became a giant Shaker frame of a gift! Adding layers is easy and fun with our Paper Snips, Dimensionals, Foam Adhesive sheets.
~ Taking an 8x8" piece of Basic White card stock and a coordinated piece of the Day at the Farm FREE Designer Series Paper (for JUST a FEW MORE DAYS!!).
~ With our Paper Snips, trim the bottom hill, farm and silos out.
~ Adhere flat the top piece of the Designer Series Paper to the Basic White card stock. Use Stampin' Dimensional Adhesive to raise the lower half of this project.
~ Die-Cut the animals from this Designer Series Paper and apply with Stampin' Dimensionals.
~ Fussy Cut the flowers from one of the edges I trimmed off and added them to this corner but DOUBLE UP on the Dimensionals for an added layer of depth.
~ Die-Cut the name in the Designer Series paper with the Alphabet a la Mode dies on the Foam Sheet Adhesive using our Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine.
~ Apply tiny drops of the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and with the Take Your Pick Tool to apply the Loose Daisy Embellishments.

OK it was a last minute thought to create this into a giant shaker but I LOVE it! It's a fun way to add to this frame - don't you think??
