Live in the Sunshine

A FUN Card created for Soldiers by the Trinity Home school Jr High + Girls!  Who wouldn't love receiving this card?

Using More Mustard Card stock with the Holiday Mini Howlstooth Designer Series Paper, Early Espresso ink and the Sunflower Background stamp, the Pursuit of Happiness greeting stamp set and you create an elegant, natural card that covers many situations!

The girls had fun switching it up, styles, sentiments, etc... that's the great thing about our stamps, papers, greetings... everyone can be an original!

This yummy paper is so mellow and warm, the Sunflower is stunning with it's fine line drawing and contrast, it's hard to do it wrong!  Easy Peasy but WOW, Squeeze Me

How would you Live in the Sunshine?  What would you do with these great stamp sets?  Thank you for coming by, taking a look and leaving a comment!

Feeling Sentimental, Framed

Working with the Trinity Home School kids we created cards for the soldiers serving abroad.. HERE is a sampling of a fun card using the Feeling Sentimental Sale-A-Bration stamp set (just sooo stunning!) as the girls flipped over the Call Box, similar to the Doctor Who Call Box..

The Framed Tulips Folder and Big Shot is a perfect fit for this stamp set - the Chocolate Chip ink on the Crumb Cake card stock is a classic neutral mix.

Using the Sponge Daubers to age and highlight the frame was a blast for all who came!
The great thing about the Clear Mounted Stamps is the easy of switching out image and sentiment... the girls were besides themselves while playing with the variety!  Being easier to carry (because the clear mounted are slimer to store and carry) is a highlight to me as I had one carrier for my 5 card projects!

With 16 girls from Jr High on up.... we created over 90 cards for the soldiers in a matter of 2 hours!  WOW!!  Impressive work by amazing girls (and Mom helpers!).

This FREE Stamp set is a favorite of mine and with a limited time to get it... you don't want to miss out!  Ask me about Sale A Bration and how to get YOURS, for FREE!!

Animal tastic

The LNS Stampers challenged us to go Animal with our cards.... So this is how I respond. Lol

I mentally created this as I took off my baby's lil sassy shoes... I wish iiiii had shoes like these lol. So with a Whisper White base for this card I took and cut the Basic Black to match its size. I then tore strips to create the zebra stripes.

I couldn't leave well enough alone, lol, so I hadddd to add a dash of bright pink glitter. How?? Simply take a drop (litterally ONE drop of re-inker) and a glob of our Dazzling Diamonds adhesive. Here I used Melon Mambo re-inker. I painted the side of each stripe with this now mixed glue that is both Melon Mambo and Dazzling!!

Here I stamped the Cute and Curly Thinking Of You with black ink (love our new ink pads!!) on Whisper White paper. I ripped it out and with a Dauber I colored the edges with Melon Mambo Ink. I love how the Stampin' Dimensional adhesive sets it above the stripes.

So this card is all Animal Tastic, sassy n fun. I hope you go a lil wild with yourrrr next card! Rrrrroarrrr! Lol. (My kids act like they are from a zoo, after all!! Lol)

(Capturing the glitter in a photo is soooo challenging!!)

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
