Tooth Fairy comes a calling

When the Tooth Fairy comes a knocking... it's usually after the kids wrestling and someone knocks out a tooth!  With a passel of kids, four in the tooth-losing/gaining stage of life I have to keep our 'sparkle' dollars around.  Sadly the kids lost the original tooth fairy box I created (see it here).  I needed a replacement - one that will be big enough to find and hold a 'sparkle' dollar while small enough to hold a tooth - or two!

Who wouldn't love this super cute, blinged out tooth-fairy box??  Using an empty Embellishment 'box' as the box is easy and fun!  It's fun to Re-purpose this Embellishment Box, saving my budget and the environment.
Isn't she cute?  My little mini-me is packed with passion for life and now missing a tooth!  We had fun creating this box together!  It sparkles just like she does.
Our adhesive backed Rhinestone Jewels are so easy to use.  They add the perfect amount of sparkle to your crafting projects.  Here connecting two and a half of the connected strips of small Rhinestone Jewels circles the top of this princess worthy box.  Additional sparkle to float around the top and sides.  These lids are designed to lock in our fun Embellishments - so they will make sure we don't have a rogue tooth.  'Lined' with a cushion of my cosmetic cotton puff the tooth will be softly held in place.

Tooth Fairy Visit!!

So there has been a rash of visits from the famous Tooth Fairy... our home has had several in the past few weeks.  Today one of the girls spent her 'Tooth Fairy Money' on a gift and the checker was shocked to receive Sparkle Money!!  So as another tooth pops out and we expect a visit from the 'Tooth Fairy' I couldn't' resist showing how our fairy shines!
Look at her excitement (she cried the last time she lost a tooth - so smiles is a great change of events!).  How can you NOT LOVE, LOVE, Loooooove that smile and utter excitement.  Her brother was quoted saying 'She's about to be PAID!' - lol.

The liquid Dazzling Details glitter adhesive is super easy and fun to use.  Here with a rub of my finger across the front and rolling the excess over the back of the dollar bill, it will quickly dry to have random sparkle in an iridescent look.  This glitter glue is clear and doesn't detract from the image, just adds sparkle! 




After it dries, it isn't a shiny look but just has sparkle of iridescent glitter. It is great to see people who see the sparkling money, lol.

When she wakes in the morning, the sparkle will be in her eye and her new Tooth Fairy Dollar!!  With a few swipes of my finger and the Dazzling Details liquid glitter adhesive, this little girl will have a toothless smile a mile wide! Smile with me as we celebrate our kids and their growing up... may they have sparkling memories of their childhood.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by.
