A Cup filled with a Whole Latte Love

It's a Whole Latte Love to-go!

I'm a coffee, cocoa and tea girl - I always have a cup of something warm with me as I head out to start my day... this card is sure to send a 'whole latte love'


Using a Whisper White or Crumb Cake card stock as the base, we embossed it in the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Folder to create the texture of a travel mug. 
 
HOW to create the mug??  It's easy - fold this card that was cut in 1/2 from the top/long ways.  After texturizing/embossing with the Big Shot, I heat embossed this sentiment on a 2" strip of card stock that contrasts the cup, making it resemble the cup cozy. 
 
Cut UP from the Bottom towards one corner at the top - then FLIP this cut corner over to use as a stencil for the other side!  This allows for the corners to match!
 
Apply a 1" strip along the top so that it hangs over where you cut and resembles a lid on a cup!!  Easy Peasy!

The Teenage girls LOVED this card - lol - as they created them for the Soldiers who are serving!  I love the creative license that the girls took with the cups, textures, looks, etc!! 
 
I love taking my cup to-go, so sending some love home while looking so cute, every soldier will enjoy this! 
 
CONTRAST!  Texture can allow for a mat look, in my opinion, but when adding the Heat Embossed greeting and image is shiny - a fun way to add interest to the eye!  How EASY is that?!?!

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone.
