Tea for Two... for me and for you....
Soooo I received an email asking that I show how to add a pattern to the outfits of the Greeting Card kids... so HERE it is!
Video demo, too.. With the Desinger Series Paper in the Spring Mini 'Tea for Two' and the stitching and quilting of the paper... it's a natural use for the Material of the dress on this card!
Stamping the image on Very Vanilla Card Stock w/ Early Espresso ink then RE-Stamping it on the DSP... you can create this flowing, real looking dress to the sweet stamp.
Using the Paper Snips and their precision cut it makes it easy to cut out the outfit and re-apply over the stamped on Very Vanilla card stock.
Using the Simply Scored Board I created this Lolly/Rosette from a 1-1/2" x 12" strip of paper, scored at every 1/4". With the Fashionable Hearts Embosslits and Big Shot, these little hearts have various fabric textures over the 'quilted' and 'stitched' DSP!
The Sentiment from the Delightful Dozen greetings set fits perfectly in with the little Greeting Card girl, doesn't it? Stamping the heart and cutting it out from one area of the DSP continues the theme... the Decorative Label punch fits perfectly and I cut extras to layer behind the sentiment.
The Blush Blossom Stampin' Write Marker is PERFECT To color in her tender skin.
Wouldn't YOU be HER Valentine?
HERE is a Video on the technique...
I hope you'll join me in creating these fun outfits!
HERE is that lil sweety from the video... isn't she just a doll??
The Stitching, mixed patterns and overall vintage feel... you can't go wrong with this little girl, her sweet gift of love or THIS OUTFIT! lol....
Thanks for coming by! What would YOU do with this Tea for Two Designer Series Paper?
