I grew up LOVING court shows and murder mysteries...
my dad was addicted and often watched them with me...
I LOVED when I they revealed who was FRAMED (dum, dum, dummmmm).
HERE I am able to Frame something... well, OK so it's the Floral District Paper, Rich Razzleberry Card stock and the Floral Frames Framelits do all the framing... lol.. with the accomplice of the Big Shot (dum, dum, dummmmm)
ha, ha, ha!
One of my Daisy Girl Scouts, Jessica, had her 7th birthday today and it happened to land on our meeting date! We hiked the girls over for some ice cream while we looked to see how the animals take care of themselves.
I created this fun lil card and coordinating gift bag for her little gift.
Using Baja Breeze for the cardstock base (the colors for the Designer Series Papers are listed in the Idea Book and Mini's under the item number, how easy is that?!?!). Using the Floral Frames Framelits and Big Shot I cut out these layering flowers twice - on the DSP and the Rich Razzleberry Cardstock.
Alternating the pattern and colored cardstock is a fun way to enjoy this layered flowers! With SNAIL Adhesive I did a large X and then applied the cardstock and DSP alternating. The Largest flower is too big for the card so I left it off. Before adhering the center down I punched a small hole and used the whiter Antique Brad - it has a floral pattern while the white picks up the DSP. Using Mini Glue Dots I adhered this down - the back of the brad hidden and the strength of the glue dots holding such a heavy embellishment down.
This sweet girl is so full of life - I couldn't resist adding a fun looking sentiment. The Wacky Wishes Hostess stamp set from the Idea Book is PERFECT! The Rich Razzleberry ink pops on the Baja Breeze cardstock, too!
Sweeten this up with the Basic Jewels Pearls in the greeting, it adds a richness and sweetness to a fun sentiment.
Using a Mini White Lunch bag for her gift bag (we gave her a canned criter) and the remaing punched out flowers I SNAILed it down and now it coordinates! Easy Peasy (lemon squeezy) and CUTE to Boot!
Don't you love when it's easy to create a gift bag that coordinates with a card? When a lovely card (and bag) are easy to create with stunning papers?
(Me, too!)
