Growing UP!

I'm beyond BLESSED by my family...
each one is a real jewel in my life!
One of our Sweet lil jewels turned 7 today!
(16 girls, a few parents,
a make your own Pizza and
Wii Dance Party was fun but at the end of the 3 hours,
I am tuckered! lol)

Creating a little Eco~Friendly gift for her classmates and Girl Scouts was FUN with the help of my dear friend Donna who came and helped me to create 35 of these sweet treats.

Seed Packets aren't too costly, a fun way to better the environment and the lives of all who see the fruits or flowers of the seeds.

Secret Garden is a wonderful stamp set ~ from the Spring Mini and the Framelits Dies make it easier than ever to punch them out!

Using Glossy White Card Stock and the Baby Wipe Technique with our Bright Pink (for my very pink girl) of Melon Mambo is sure to brighten her and her friend's day!  (Pacific Point is a nod to those boys that she loves to chase about.)

Centering the Flowers with the Dum Dum lollipops are also a nod to one of our favorite movies ~ Night at the Museum!
In Melon Mambo or Pacific Point - the Black Heat Embossing POPS as well as adding some sharp contrast.
(It is SWEET Growing Up with you! Printed on Pretty in Pink card stock is a great tag for this gift, isn't it?)

Glossy White Paper is a great way to Shine!
I hope that the children of our my daughter's class and troop plant these seeds of varying flowers.  What a great way to Brighten their home, view and the Earth!  A fun twist on the normal hand-out to kids.

THIS and the fun Balloon that I brought to the school was a great way to brighten the view and the lives of these kids!  (What a site Iiiii made running up the street w/ the 35 balloons and basket of potential blooms - lol.)

7 years ago I was blessed to give birth, as she and I narrowly escaped death during labor, a couple of times.
My life is now full of sass, pink, laughter and hugs.
My mini-me, my pride and joy...
she says she wants to be a Stampin' Mom like me - awwww!

Watching her grow up is a rare blessing and growing up as a sprited young lady who is strong and loving!
I'm sooo blessed!

How can YOU be different with your gifts?
Celebrate while beautifying the plant?
What can you grow?

Sweeten the day by adding to your collection (or starting one) with this amazing Stamp set and coordinating Framelits dies!  Purchasing them in a Bundle is a great way to save 15%!!
This set is great stamped or embossed...
what would YOU do with it?
Leave me a Comment and let me know.

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
