Vintage Bicycle Celebrations

Don't you just LOVE vintage items?!?!
I remember my Mom and Dad had a Stereoscope Viewer and I would spend hours looking at these photos of the early 1900's... I clearly remember marveling at a bicycle JUST like this!!
 
Putting this bike in motion is easy...
Silver 'Leafed' edges add to this Grey card...
It was a BLAST from our last

Using our Square Lattice Textured Embossing Folder and Big Shot (Idea Book & Catalog) on this Basic Grey card stock adds a fun texture while contributing to the Antique feel!
Oval it all.. this card is cool - lol.
Celebrate, from the Feeling Sentimental stamp set fits PERFECTLY in the Large oval punch - embossed in Silver it is a rich accent. 
 
The Oval First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper frames the Stamped Bicycle in Basic Grey ink.. I stamped the First and darkest bike and then continued back stamping with out re-inking.  This is called 'Stamping Off' and give the effect of movement.  The Oval Collection Framelits Dies (Spring Mini) and Big Shot (Idea Book & Catalog) lay perfect layered ovals for a nice look!
The Sponge Dauber (Idea Book & Catalog) in a Versa Mark Pad and Silver Embossing Powder (with the help of our Heat Gun) allows this Silver Leaf look to happen - my kids call it magic, lol.  The Grey and Silver add to the vintage look of this card.

Stampin' Dimensional Adhesive layer up each level for depth and dimension.  It also makes it easier to grip the texture of the card stock base.

You do not have to be 'old' to appreciate the look of this vintage card.  I remember enjoying the pictures from way back... this card made me smile at those memories!

    A beautiful vintage look Jamie. I love the silver leaf look.
    Celebrate is such a versatile sentiment. I use it for birthdays, anniversaries, children winning something at sport/school - lots of occasions.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations.
