Busy Buzzing Bees..
Life of a Mommy!
One of my friends, Joy, said this card was a favorite as it reminded her of her life as a busy mom.
I LOVE that art (like a simple card) can capture the meaning of one's life and views... Here is a sweet Buzzing Bee card... what do you think!?!?
Honeycombs are all the rage... I have to admit that I'm a big fan. This card is simple, clean, modern and natural... vintage and elegant....
With our Honeycomb Textured Embossing Folder (Spring Mini) and Big Shot this texture comes to life.
Our sweet Collage Curios (Spring Mini) is a wonderful collection with multi dimensional ability and they fit PERFECTLY in our 1" Circle Punch (Idea Book & Catalog). The Bumble Bee from the Curios Collection is a perfect fit with Textured Embossing Folder!

Daffodil Delight is the card stock base and inked sweet bees on this card. Our Color Coach is a MUST HAVE for crafters, artists and anyone who wants to pair colors together (I use it for my closet too!!). Here Daffodil Delight pairs with Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso. Using them in the card makes for an appealing card.
Stamping the Early Espresso Script circle from the Collage Curios then layering the Cherry Cobbler Ring around it is easy. The subtle Daffodil Delight bee fits in perfectly!!
In the 'Pursuit of Happiness' we call life - this stamp set (Idea Book & Catalog) encourages us to 'Live in the sunshine' and that is exactly what I try to do! I did mistakenly stamp this AFTER embossing the card, in Cherry Cobbler...
I remind you that stamping BEFORE embossing is key...
Punching this out, after stamped, is easy peasy, lemon squeezy (lemon - yellow card - lol). Wrapping this Early Espresso Bakers Twine around and through our Brights Designer Buttons (Idea Book & Catalog) helps to button this project up (button it up - lol).
Leaving extra I punched the 1/16" circle handheld punch and threaded it through the stamped, punched circle.
(Shhhh - the secret here is the punched bee circle, and Daffodil Delight buttons are held down with Stampin' Dimensional Adhesive to keep them 'floating' right where I want them - lol.)
What does this card 'say' to you?!?!
I hear the constant buzzing of my life - the kids, phones, tv, husband, schools, life...
(Like Joy, the buzzing busy sound of my life.. lol).
What are your thoughts on this card?!?
