Rich Thoughts if You, Rain or Shine

When I asked my Facebook Friends 'What Candy Bar' they'd like to see inspire a card.. I was excited when Beverly Koning mentioned herrrrr favorite candy is Milka - a German chocolate bar!  HERE is my nod to my German roots, my German exchange student
(Tim, we miss our boy!).
With our Wisteria Wonder cardstock as the base for this card, the Color Coach suggested it's monochromatic sibling is the Elegant Eggplant!  Our Ribbons are dyed to match... this pretty Ruffled Ribbon in Wisteria Wonder and our Wisteria Wonder and White Baker's Twine.. they make crafting easy!!
European chocolates are being bought up and run down (according to my German and Belgium exchange students) by American Companies!  (soooo sad!) but this is still a highly rated, decent cost chocolate bar!  (Order them on-line from Milka.com to Amazon - but did you know that Walmart carries Milka?!?!!  WOW, who knew!)
Sweeten this card with our Big Shot and the Elegant Lines textured Impression's Embossing folder (Idea Book & Catalog).  Embossing in White embossing powder and our Heat Gun these sweet Rain or Shine stamp set (Spring Mini) on the Elegant Eggplant card stock for a sharp, rich and elegant look!  These Build Your Own umbrellas is fun and versatile, elegant and whimsical. 
After Heat Embossing/setting the white umbrellas - I then stamped these raining hearts and embossed them with Iridescent Ice embossing powder for a sweet raining down of love (sparkling love - lol). 
 
Our adhesive backed, luminescent and rich Pearls from our Basic Jewels Pearls pack (Idea Book & Catalog) are a quick and rich embellishment to any project!  They come in several sizes, all adhesive backed and are fun to use
(with 150 pearls per sheet for $4.95 in the Idea Book & Catalog - they are a deal!).
This Rich and Sweet Treat inspired this card... I hope you can feel the calorie free, rich and sweet love - lol!

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations.
