At Nature's Pace

When I think lovely, natural and vintage... when my heart has a yearning for elegance... I grab my 'Nature's Pace' stamp set (Idea Book & Catalog) and very quickly, something amazing comes to life!
This sweet card is perfect when you want to send a note that isn't covered by an Occasion. 
 
With our In~Color Summer Starfruit, Raspberry Ripple and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers I had fun painting the rubber stamp.  Simply flip the stamp over, paint it the colors you want (I always color the lightest to the darkest) and then Huff on it and press it to stamp it. 
 
Here I stamped it on Naturals White card stock (Idea Book & Catalog) for the subtle, natural flecked look.  Too, it's a little vintage feeling.

The new In Color Dahlias are sweet little flowers.. and with the Raspberry Ripple and the Summer Starfruit matching - they are easy to use!
 
Layering the Old Olive Designer Button (from the Brights collection) provides a layer of color between the matched Dahlia and Summer Starfruit stamped paper. 
A layer of vintage love is easy to attain when you use our Background Stamps!  Here inking the En Francais background stamp with the Summer Starfruit ink pad and stamping it on Summer Starfruit paper is subtle. The elegance of the background stamp lends to the look of this card.
 
Punching the beautiful bee and flowered emblem is easy with the Decorative Label punch.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by.
