 I have to say that creating a card with drama is such fun!
~  Score the Black card stock at 4-1/4", cut at 5-1/2".
~  Using the scalloped heart punch, from the Heartfelt bundle, punch the Gold Foil sheet (4"x5-1/4") and layer over the card front with SNAIL adhesive.
~  Adhere the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper with SNAIL adhesive over the Gold Foil.
Stamp the Heartfelt stamp heart in Memento black ink on the Whisper White.  
~  Punch with the smaller, layering, heart punch (included in this bundle - saving you 10%!).
~  Stamp the friend greeting from the Heartfelt stamp set in Real Red ink.
~  These coordinating Heart Doilies are so pretty, adhere it to the front of the card with SNAIL adhesive.
~  Cutting this stunning Real Red Double Stitched Satin Ribbon over the Heart Doily, I love the angle of the ribbon edges - don't you?
~  Adhere the punch, stamped hearts with Stampin' Dimensional adhesive over one another.

Don't forget the inside!  The coordinating colors, stamps and fun look ties the card together for a wow greeting!

With the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, adhere the flap of the envelope (see the video for my tips on how to best do this) to the Golden Honey Designer Series Paper.  WOW with the coordinating envelope for a dramatic look!

OnStage

Ok so I have my laptop to blog but I've been swamped getting ready for the Stampin' Up! OnStage event. I caught a red eye and joined my lovely friends in Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm here kid and hubby free for a fun crafting break. 

This is the fun, amazing and encouraging training I train with. We are from all over the world!  They have become dear and precious gifts of friendships to me. Stamping gives me the very best friends!!

I can't wait to show y'all the awesome NEW goodies to craft with at our Creative Connection class next Saturday! Take the two classes next Saturday and make a crafting day of it!! 

I am blessed to be a work at home mom and own my own businesses.  It is empowering to be able to bless others, craft, connect and make friends while helping support our family.

I'll try to blog tomorrow. I have just returned from the Leadership Dinner. Who doesn't love dressing up, being spoiled and given a sweet gift while enjoying my friends. I can't wait to share what I created to swap with the amazing ladies here at the OnStage event!!

Kindred Spirits

So near 9 years ago I was active in my local MOMS Club where I met a collection of women that I still call dear and close friends!  I also started my Stampin' Up! business in order to receive the generous discount.  I signed up two weeks before giving birth to my daughter.  So today was a day that joined my past with my present. 

 

My best friend was who encouraged and supported my crafting addiction.  She loved my crafting classes - we would often create together weekly as our kiddos played.  These days she lives in Texas and I'm in California.. but my Kate - she's my Kindred Spirit and a Sister that God gave me... so today we drove down to see her as she was visiting her in-laws. 

A true friend knows your heart.  She encourages, supports and tells you the truth (even when it sucks - lol).  Kate's angels and two of mine were a year apart from each other and all four with February birthdays.  My kiddos celebrated the first few birthdays in joint parties with Kate's.  So with 10 years of friendship, our angels growing up, life happening and thankfully Iphones that allow for often contact... Birthday and Crafting Celebrations!!

I love so much about what I do... crafting soothes my soul and gives me some beautiful results from my playing, connecting with others when you send the card and bless them and then there are those ladies who I stamp with... they, they bless me beyond measure!  So when one of my classes had a wonderful celebration, it was beyond a blessing to be a part of celebrating a birthday!  See how awesome this surprise is and see why my stamping friends bless me so!

It is almost too pretty to eat!  When Pat brought in and surprised Helyn with a birthday cake we were in awe, but to have it be a stunning, hand made cake like this.. it brought tears to our eyes!

Pat likes to keep you on your toes, but she has a massive heart!  To joke with us all, to create a cake like this for the class - in the midst of her working full-time... there are no words for what a blessing this was.

Helyn was blown away!  She had a tear-filled moment then bounced back to enjoy the blessing.

The ladies and I were looking forward to fun card making and crafting.. this was the 'icing on the cake' and ohhhh the icing and home made lime flavored cake was divine!

Make a wish!!

My wish is that we are all blessed with wonderful moments like this in our lives.  I like to believe that these moments are why God bring us together.

Pat is awesome!  She even brought us all 'party favors' - no joke - she delivered us some awesome pens and cheer with this cool cake and warm loving!

So if you were to ask me 'Why do you love being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator?' - I'm blessed with many moments like this.  Moments where crafters join to laugh, love and even pray together and hold each other up.  The ladies that I'm blessed to craft with me are the highlights to my days - they bless me so with their company and friendship.  I hope that you enjoy our sweet slice of cake and consider joining in the fun!  We have a blast in our Stampin' Classes and on my Gettin' Crafty Stampin' Team - come join us!  Thanks ladies - you are an answer to my prayers!
