Friendship distance

My dearest BFF and Kindred Spirit lives in Texas... being that I'm still in California, Texas seems like the Bermuda Triangle of friends (we've had several close family friends move to TX, sigh...).
 
The blessings of technology allow for my BFF, Kate, and I to talk often, Facetime on our Iphones, keep our kids connected as 'family', email, and more!
 
So, really, though they live many states away, we are able to share funny stories, laugh and lean on each other during trying times (especially when our husbands' don't understand our tears or frustrations, lol)!
This is one of my favorite sayings from a man I greatly admire!  This Feel Goods (#129681) stamp set is introduced in our soon to close Spring Mini (closes May 31st!!). 
 
Stamping this Very Vanilla card stock (#101650) with Gumball Green ink (#126861) this sentiment before running it through our Big Shot (#113439) and the lovely Cloudy Day Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#127022).  This embossing folder goes away... eek... come May 31st!!  I know Iiiii will be hoarding mine... the clouds are just too cute!
 
Our Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack is a wonderful mix of patterns and prints!!  Too, on a Pinwheel like these both patterns show and are color coordinated... looking trendy!
 
Here the Pinwheel Sizzlits S Die (#129411) is a great idea... but sadly I find it more challenging to use than just creating a pinwheel on my own.
The Extra Large Oval punch (#119859) pops out these printed hills... using our SNIPS (#103579 - a wonderful tool!!) to cut them in half - two ovals become four rolling hills!
The SNAIL adhesive adheres the hills down but my Hot Glue Gun adhere the tooth picks behind the pinwheel and hills. 
 
The Pinwheel die is designed to be used with our Brads... here the Silver Metallic brads (#119741) but is more difficult than just adhering the pinwheel down and adding an adhesive backed Rhinestone Basic Jewel at the end.
So one of my favorite items from the Spring Mini is the Cloudy Day embossing folder while one of my least favorite items is the Pinwheel die. 
BOTH are Going to be GONE come the end of May!!

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations.
