Awesome?? (Check, Check, Check!)
I love card making... and this card was a fun one to make! With a fun inspiration, one that was in my head for a loooong time... I am so glad to have created it (and 25 of it's siblings) for a swap at the 25th Anniversary Stampin' Up! Convention!!
With our Crumb Cake (#120953) card stock and ink (#126975), Very Vanilla card stock (#101650) this neutral card comes to a rich life!
Shhhh... so I love purses, jewelry, shoes, clothes... when I purchased a Spring-Summer purse this year, this purse caught my eye!
I knew that the moment I owned it, I'd make a card inspired by it. This is the inspiration for this card.
Stamping our Beautifully Baroque (#130895) stamp on an Embossing Buddy (#103893) prepped card stock with Versa Mark ink (#102283) the Black embossing powder (#109133) becomes so elegant.
Two for One?? YES! Using my Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (#113439), Big Shot Magnetic Platform (#130658) and the Apothecary Accents Framelits (#127003). The shape mimics the Baroque.
Cut in 1/2 and use both sides... on two cards.
The Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder (#130917) and Big Shot take this Very Vanilla to a new level. Rubbing the embossed surface with our Stamping Sponge (#101610) and Crumb Cake ink for this highlighted the embossing and also distresses it.
Our Hostess Exclusive Express Yourself (#130339) stamped with our Basic Black ink (#126980).
Curl the edges with the Bone Folder (#102300) and sponge it for this elegant look.
I know that this is one of my favorite cards for convention...
what a great swap, if I do say so myself - lol.
