Simply Sketched Bird

I'm a nature girl...
I love hikes, birds, flowers.... nature!
 
I created this card to use a technique but I couldn't resist our Hostess Exclusive Simply Sketched (#129672) stamp set.

With Chocolate Chip (#1002128) and Crumb Cake (#120953) card stocks, creating the wood like base, the Marian Mist (#119682) for the accent (my Color Coach #113118 paired them together for a wonderful assembly). 
Heat embossing this beautiful bird with our Early Espresso embossing powder (#128980), our Versa Mark pad (#102283).  The quiet and quick Heat Tool (#129053) is a must for crafting souls.
Our Woodgrain embossing folder (#127821) and Big Shot (#113439) creates a natural wood look.  Our Big Shot Magnetic Platform with our Ovals framelits (#129381).
Want to make colored glitter??
THIS is the technique I wanted to use and this card came to life. 
Mix in a lid of an accessory ReInker (here I used my Marina Mist re-inker) and our Dazzling Details liquid glue (#124117).  Attaining the color you desire, using the Aqua Painters (#103954) for easy application.
A dash of color, pops of accent, rich tones, textures and elegant images... it's easy to Wow with great products.
 
I'm not color savvy but using our Color Coach sure makes me look like I am (and it's one of my favorite tools at such a low price, too).

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone.
