Dress Up Girl
My 7 year old, Genevieve, worked hard to earn some 'Mommy Time'.
She wanted to create a card, so we did!
Below is a modified dress and with our Glimmer and Foil papers... she shines!
With the Whisper White card stock (#100730) she kept it simple and clean. Real Red ink (#126949) and the Petite Pairs (#122947) she showcased the dress while sending love!
Red Glimmer Paper (#121790) really jazzes up this dress.... while the Silver Foil Sheets (#132178 - new and in the Holiday Catalog) and the Silver 1/8" Ribbon (#132137) make this the PERFECT outfit to Shine in!!
Ok so she has ALWAYS been a fashionista! At 18 months she returned to her room (after throwing a fit) and switched her Mary Janes out for a cute pair of Boots... this did look better with her outfit - but SERIOUSLY?!?! lol.. this is my life!
Here she trimmed off the sleeves of the Dress Up Framelits (#130101). The Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (#113439) and the Big Shot Magnetic Platform (#130658) make it easy to create! Our Paper Snips (#103579) are a MUST for any crafters repertoire! They make it fun and easy to modify any project.
I wondered if it was too simple.
She insisted that it was 'Simply Perfect!'.
So it stands... she's ready for any dance, wedding or show! She is sure to stand out in the crowd while being elegant and uber trendy!

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
