Baby Girl hand-stamped card

I am blessed by some amazing women in my life!  When that circle grows (by new friends, marriage or a new baby girl) I am oh so grateful!!  Hugging my friend Rheana today made my heart warm as she is adding to our circle of women with the baby girl in her belly!  So yes.. I came home and with this beautiful woman, inside and out, in mind I created this card for their new beginning and addition to this amazing family.

Create this baby girl card with:
One in a Million stamp set (#126382)
Blushing Bride card stock (#131198)
Blushing Bride ink (#131172)
Very Vanilla card stock (#101650)
Vellum card stock (#101856)
Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon (#120999)
Pearl Jewels (#119247)
Elegant Butterfly punch (#127526)
Bitty Butterfly punch (#129406)
Decorative Label punch (#120907)
Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder (#130917)
Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (#113439)
Stampin' Sponges (#101610)
Glue Dots (#103683)
Stampin' Dimensional adhesive (#104430)

Start with a 4"x8" piece of Blushing Bride card stock.  Score (don't fold yet) at 4".  Emboss with the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder and Big Shot.  Once this beautiful texture comes to life, refold and score the card to stay right where you want it.
Celebrate this sweet baby girl with this simple but elegantly written 'Baby' (it really does say it all, doesn't it?).  This One In A Million stamp set has 10 paired stamps that can even be interchanged.

Stamping this {Baby} with Blushing Bride ink on the Very Vanilla card stock.  Center the Decorative Label punch over the sentiment and punch out!

Add some luxury with these connected, adhesive backed Pearl Jewels (every girl needs a string of pearls!).

Soften the edges and fill any 'open space' by cutting a 'pie shaped' piece of your Stampin' Sponge.  This smaller shape allows me to get into the corners and have more control on this banner.
Tie this bow with the shining, soft and oh-so-pretty Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon.  Leaving long 'tails' (that I trimmed the edges for a pretty look) to end towards the bottom of the card.  Apply Glue Dots to hold the bow at the top of the card, exactly where you want it!  I also added Glue Dots 1/2 way down the 'tails'

Layer the {Baby} banner over the embossed base with the Stampin' Dimensional adhesive over the ribbon.

Punch these two pretty butterflies with the Elegant and Bitty Butterfly Punches from the Vellum card stock.  Folding in 1/2, roll a glue dot to go along the folded seam.  Using my Bone Folder, push the centers of the butterflies down onto the card base - this helps raise the wings, too!

(My friend Rheana is surrounded by guys!  She has a loving and doting husband and two boys... so this little girl is just what she needs... just these two girls in a home with boys!)
This card comes to life with subtle but elegant feminine accents.  Stamp the coordinating 'a little word filled with a lot of Happiness'  on the inside with the Blushing Bride ink for a sweet sentiment inside.

I'm so blessed that you came by today!  I try to post daily projects and tutorials... so come and visit often.  Bring your friends and family along for the fun when you share me.

Celebrate those special moments and people in your life.  When you are surrounded by amazing women and one is bringing another into the world.. celebrate with this pretty baby girl card.  So as I celebrate Rheana's newest addition, I couldn't resist creating an elegant and personalized hand-stamped card that embraces the beauty and elegance of the person receiving it.

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
