There are seasons in life where you have weddings, births, and deaths. Lately we've been surrounded watching friends have major losses in their lives. So creating a simple, elegant and natural hand-stamped card to say that our hearts and prayers are with them is easy to do (and soothing to my heart as I feel their pain).

With the Smoky Slate card stock base color the Serene Silhouette stamp with the Basic Grey and Real Red Stampin' Write Markers. Huff on it and apply to the bottom corner of the card.
Stamp again on a sticky-note. Here I stamped along the sticky side to get as much coverage as possible.
Masking the stamped image with the loosely cut sticky note.
Stamping the Hardwood* background stamp over the masked image with Smoky Slate ink is a soft, elegant and natural background.
Using the Petite Pair stamp set Sympathy stamp over the wood with the darker (monochromatic sister and paired together with the help of my Color Coach) Basic Grey.
This stamp set has a great collection of paired stamps... the coordinating stamp inside for a complete card.
I'm so blessed that you came by today. I try to post daily projects and tutorials so come and visit often. Bring your friends and family along when you share me.
Seasons, like during the year, can be filled with sunshine, rain, wind, new growth and death. It hurts my heart to see those I love suffer during their loss (and I remember that season so well). Sending a hand-stamped card is a wonderful way to be their and showing that you care.
