Start on ALL of these cards by cutting the 12" Whisper white into 6"x3" strips.  Fold and bone, creating 3" square cards.  Prime the surface of all the cards with the Embossing Buddy for a better embossed image.
Like a life-line, my iphone is rarely far from my reach.  Having as many kids as I do, I often have my beloved ear-buds in to listen to my radio stations or have conversations that I can semi-hear!  So this cute card brings my BFF and our conversations to mind.

One you have the primed card stamp the image, here the 'best buds', with the Versa Mark ink.  Because Versa Mark is stickier than most, I like to make sure that my cling rubber stamps will stay on my clear block.  I will prep the block with a thorough cleaning with dish soap to make sure it's ready to hold.

Liberally apply the Black Embossing Powder, shake off the excess and heat set with the Heat Tool.

Here I colored the buds in with the Smoky Slate Stampin' Write Marker.  Punching these musical notes from the Modern Medley Designer Series Paper with the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack it accents the tunes I love to hear.
Here coloring in the embossed polka dot pencil with the Blushing Bride Stampin' Write Marker for the pencil.  Coloring the pencil body in with the So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker.  Frame the sentiment with the pointed frame of the Chevron Border Punch in Blushing Bride card stock.  I like how it picks up on the color while accenting the pointed pencil.
This girl love her shades.... seriously!  I have a full collection of sharp shades and am known for picking up a new pair and often.  So these Cherry Cobbler and Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Marker colored shades bring my favorite red pair of eye wear to life.  Accent this card with the Watercolor Designer Washi Tape and add a dash of gold and style.
Ohhhh - I'm a pedi loving girl!  I can't keep nail polish on my fingernails (between the typing, crafting and house keeping I do, it just comes right off!).  So when adding color to my life and gettin' pretty I grab a bold color and a nail pattern from Pinterest and hit my local salon for a kid free moment or as of late I take on of my girls for a date(here in Southern California I sport a pedi year round!!).

I used to have jewels added to my toes.. sigh... but my daily gym visits had them popping off in my sneaks.  So now I have glitter added... but as a nod to my love of bling, here our adhesive backed Rhinestone Jewels make this card sparkle and shine.   The Melon Mambo and Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker colored nail polish bottle is just bold enough for a fun Spring Pedi!
OK so if you know me... this stamp set SCREAMS me... sigh.  Shoes... oh what I'd do for a fly pair of shoes!!  I love my heals, boots, peep-toes, flats, cute flip flops... shoessssss!!!!!

So in a nod to my shoe obsession and how a friend can make you feel even better than the best pair of shoes (just barely, lol) I colored these babies in with Basic Black, Basic Grey and Bermuda Bay Stampin' Write Markers.  So go ahead, send a pair of shoes... or maybe keep the shoes and send the hand-stamped card (it's what I'd do).
I have to admit.. I don't wear much make-up.  I do love good eye and lip accents though.  Every woman should sport a beautiful lip color, right??  So here with the paint-brush side of the Real Red Stampin' Write Marker I swirled a lipstick looking mark and colored the tube in.  Using our Smokey Slate Stampin' Write Marker to create this silver looking lipstick... it's perfect for my purse... or just send the card, lol.

So creating this cute collection of 3" square cards was a fun way to give a gift to a stylish friend!!  With the same technique, yet simple changes and accents you can create a gift that keeps on giving!!  Make a Point and send stylish gifts that doesn't require you to ask the size (lol) with this hand-stamped card collection.

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
