I started the project by stamping this pretty Sunshine sentiment from the Feel Goods stamp set in Tangerine Tango ink on the Whisper White card stock (cut down to fit the 8"x10" frame).
Inking the kids fingers, I started with the thumb in the Wild Wasabi ink. Then wiped it 'clean' to do the fingers surrounding the thumb. This will quickly fill a page and resemble the leaves.
After collecting all the finger prints and using a pencil to mark each child's name, I then used my Aqua Painter and the Soft Suede ink to paint these branches and trunk. I even 'carved' a heart after for an extra touch! The Aqua Painter makes for beautiful water colored lines and I don't have to stay 'within' the lines or be perfect.
Add some sun to this sentiment with the Daffodil Delight ink and Stampin' Sponge. Coloring the corner adds a warmth to the card and the colors beautifully coordinate.
Their little fingerprints really warm my heart!
Print the sentiment you desire on the Vellum Card Stock. Here I adhered it to the sides with Glue Dots. It floats above the tree while adding a pretty greeting. Here we discussed their love and support helping them to grow and reach for the skies. It is so true, the love these teachers pour into my kids are great ways for them to feel supported and cherished.

This project pulls together to signify the Growth our kids have done with the love and support of these amazing teachers. Teachers are our unsung hero's and I couldn't do what they do (I used to want to teach, sigh... I now do with my kids, lol). Create a sweet gift to mark the impression the teachers have made on the lives of the kids and our family. This project is sure to warm the hearts of the teachers.
