As I get older, I find that though I have 680 friends on Facebook (yes, I have a connection to each of them) I find that the close friends, the ones you can call to set you straight, to laugh with you, to love you and let you vent or cry... they can be counted on one hand!! I'm blessed to have a handful of close friends and one very, very best friend who is my Kindred Spirit, a sister The Lord gave me even if we weren't born into the same family. So I am sharing with you this sweet card that is represents my very best friend... Kate, I love you my sister from our Heavenly Mister, thanks for being my kindred spirit.

These girls so represent my best friend and I. With the In-Color Stampin' Write Markers I could color Kate's golden locks and our fun outfits. Here with markers that make for perfectly coordinated looks, it's easy to create a card as stylish as we like to be.
Layered over this 'rain' patterned paper from the Moonlight Designer Paper Stack it shows that through rain and shine I'm blessed to know that we will stick together (and with technology, Facebook, iphones, etc - we can stay close even states apart).
Skin tone is easy to color and with a variety of shades thanks to the new Stampin' Blendablities Markers. Here there are subtle differences in the colors of our skin and the dog's skin tone. It is a fun way to add personalization to any project (and look good doing it)! Here the darker skin tone color made a close match for my hair - a richer creamy coffee colored hair (ummm... and it's not from my love of coffee - lol).
Using my Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Magnetic Platform and the Deco Labels framelits it's fun to create a unique shape to frame us. So much cutter than a straight cut, don't you think?? Raise it above the card and have some depth with the Stampin' Dimensional adhesive.
The Designer Paper Stacks are 4-1/2" x 6-1/2" in a stack of stunning patterned, double sided, color coordinated paper. Here I took the excess strip of the rain paper and added it as a fun accent inside the card.

I am so blessed to have such a wonderful collection of friends and even more blessed to have the few that are super close, who love me when I'm ugly, fat, cranky, sassy, loud or funny (lol). This card embodies the heart of my friendship with Kate, our love of animals, clothes and each other. When you have beautiful stamps, papers, markers and tools you can create fun, personalized gifts that are sure to wow!
