With fun inspiration in style - you can create stylish cards that are sure to delight!! These stunning, vintage shoes from the 1920's can inspire modern and cool cards - today!!
My friend and fellow stamper, Carol, create this pretty card. In order to use the Stampin' Blendabilites Marker system you have to use the Memento ink pad. Here she stamped this Flower Shop pansy with the Memento ink pad on the Whisper White card stock. Coloring in with the Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blendabilites for a fun depth and she added the Cherry Cobbler center with the Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities.
Color the flowers in this Back to Black Designer Series Paper with the Blendabilites! Here Carol added pops of the coordinating Pumpkin Pie for a completed look. Below I added the Medium to the flower and the dark to the edges of the flowers in my Back to Black piece. I LOVE the look and Carol pointed out that the black can cover if you go 'outside the lines' (she's one of my 'A' Types and hates going outside the lines - so what a great observation!!).
WOOPS!! When I punched this Flower Shop pansy with the coordinating Pansy Punch I miss punched. Then I tried to 'fix' it with my Paper Snips. It left a slight jagged white edge to the flower. Simply color the edges with the middle color in the Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities for a finished look.
With the Blendabilites you can create a layer of depth and movement like no other!! It's so easy and fun to do, simply stamp your image with the Memento ink pad and color the lightest color first. Add depth with the medium color (I like to do so in the lined areas of the flower). Leave dashes of white - for a fun sun splashed look. Add the darkest color to the outside of the edges to the leaves (this is a general guideline - do it the opposite or where ever your imagination takes you). Carol and I switched markers for the centers of our flowers - here the Pumpkin Pie is in my flower's center!
Stamping this fun sentiment from the Num-Num stamp set is easy with the Memento ink pad (don't get another black pad out - it works too). It fits perfectly in the Decorative Label Punch and with the small flower in the greeting, adding a dash of the Cherry Cobbler to it creates a finished looking project.
Raising the flower and sentiment is easy with our Stampin' Dimensional Adhesive.
