Coffee and Friends hand-stamped card

I love crafting, crafting and coffee!!  So when I can combine the two, then even add vacationing with my family and friends... I'm in HEAVEN!!  So this recent trip up to our resort on Big Bear Lake I even taught a fun card making class with new ladies who were enjoying their break from life as well.  So this card was my combining my love of crafting, coffee and vacation.. I hope it makes you smile!
Create this coffee filled card with:
Perfect Blend stamp set (wood 130745/clear 131392)
Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (wood 130514/clear 130517)
Lullaby Designer Series Paper (133695)
Gold Foil Sheets (132622)
Gold Encore Metallic ink pad (132141)
Very Vanilla card stock (101650)
Crisp Cantaloupe card stock (131298)
Pistachio Pudding card stock (131294)
Baked Brown Sugar ink pad (131174)
Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (133787)
Artisan Label Punch (130920)
Paper Snips (103579)
Stampin' Dimensional Adhesive (104430)
SNAIL (Simple, Neat, Affordable In-Line) adhesive (104332)

Create this cute cozy travel cup with the Perfect Blend stamp set.  Stamping the cup image twice - once on the Very Vanilla card stock and again, just the cozy area (I cut the Lullaby paper down to prevent waste).  Cut, using the Paper Snips, the cup and adhere it to the card stock with the SNAIL adhesive.  Add dimension by applying the cozy with the Stampin' Dimensional.

Stamp this sentiment with Baked Brown Sugar on the Crisp Cantaloupe card stock.  Using the Artisan Label Punch to create an elegant greeting.  Apply it off center with the Stampin' Dimensional Adhesive.  By having these off center/tilted adds to the whimsy and fun of this card and it's 'spilled coffee' look.

This Itty Bitty Accessory Punch Pack is new and the heart is pretty luscious.  Adding this heart from the Gold Foil Sheet to balance the card, show the love of warm drinks and continue the warmth to this card with this heart applied using the Stampin' Dimensional adhesive.
Paper Snips... Oh I LOVE these babies!  First, they come with a LID!  I keep a pair in my purse -  for crafting and just life and I don't accidentally cut myself or purse!  Second they are super precision cutting with fine point tips - I can cut the smallest area with ease and look good doing so!  Third, they are the best quality!  They cut many surfaces, from thin metals to thin woods, cork, card stock, ribbons, etc... again, they are my hero!!

Add dashes of gold to this card... using the Gold Encore Metallic ink pad and the Gorgeous Grunge to add this fun and subtle addition of luxurious gold to your hand-stamped projects.
Layering this Gold in the stripes over the 'spilled coffee' of Baked Brown Sugar ink with the Gorgeous Grunge on both corners.  Duplicating but mirroring your stamped images will lend to a balanced page, and it's easy too!

It was fun to see the ladies go a step above, adding the new 2013-15 In Color Sequin Assortment (133631) for additional sparkle and even adding additional punched gold hearts!  I love seeing people have fun with crafting and changing it up from my samples!

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
