5 Minute! Storybook Card Trifold Accordion Fun Fold Card

I just ADORE a QUICK and Easy Fun Fold that is SURE to WOW (while using up my Designer Series Paper Scraps!!).  WELL... THIS is THE Handmade Card for YOU!!  Embracing all that I just LOVE about the NEW Year and preparing to send cards packed with love and encouragement... we had a blast creating this LIVE!  Catch the full video tutorial on how to use it and the supplies below.

This is a stylish and easy way to create a memorable hand stamped card.

LAYERS of fun!  Picking a side is so challenging BUT this allows for BOTH sides to be featured!!

Recipe:

~  Taking this FREE* Most Adored Designer Series Paper.. 12"x5-1/2"

~  Score it at 1-3/4", 4=3/4" and 7-3/4" on the 12" side.

~  Fold into a V with the busier side, like this Plaid, showing on the front in the smaller first fold.

~  Adhesive between the 4-3/4" and 7-3/4" V center.

~  Stamp in the Flirty Flamingo and Real Red on the Basic White card stock 2-1/4"x3-3/4" (3 of them).  Leave the last piece for writing and I like to stamp it less or not at all.

~  EMBOSS with the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine the Real Red card stock at 2-3/4"x4-1/4" (3 of them).

~ Adhere the White with Stampin' Dimensionals to the Real Red embossed pieces.

~  Using Tear Tape to adhere these to the folds, layering so they 'hide' behind each other.

Spice It Up:

~  Add our Red Rhinestones with the Take Your Pick Tool.

~  Using the strip of Designer Series Paper that was left over can make a great belly band also!

I love the layers of surprise and beautiful gold foil accents of this paper!

I encourage you, if you can, to adhere this last piece of Basic White AFTER you write on it - this is going over Stampin' Dimensionals and an embossed card stock and can make writing challenging.

Embracing the GOLD on this hand crafted art is such a fun contrast to the vintage pages of this 1950's book!

From Paper Manipulation - in this Folded Pages Book Art to the Gold Leafing and mixing of the media... I can't get over how fun this was!

Layers and layers of fun... 

Recipe:

~  Measuring the pages of your book, cutting this coordinating Designer Series Paper to fit.. I incorporated tearing and sponging even.

~  Die-Cutting the Gold Foil for a fun accent.

~  Paper Folding is so much fun and doesn't require adhesive to do.

~  Stamping in the Night of Navy ink on this stunning O' Holy Night Designer Series Paper such a perfect greeting.

~  Accent using the Gold Trim and Festive Pearls.

Spice It Up...

~  Using the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and the Gilded Leafing Elements along with our Paper Pumpkin box and Stamping Sponge for an elegant gold leafing!

Elevating this project can be as many or as few layers that you may be interested in... I am addicted to this and plan to create a fun variety of them as gifts.

Vintage Books to pick... I featured the Santa Book in my next post but the pages were older, thin or softer? and rougher in edge.  I would recommend a firmer page with a clean edge.  I highlight this in the video tutorial above.

Stars at Night Fun Fold Stampin’ Up! Deckled Circle Card Making

A Fun Fold is a great way to Wrap a handmade card in a hug... and create interest for those who receive and see it.  Here we feature the O' Holy Night Designer Series Paper on this Deckled Circles accented card front.  A tri-fold is possibly the easiest fancy fold but I love how it allows for additional layers, textures and color!  Featured in our Stars at Night FREE Card Making Class... here is the SECOND of the class but Click and See a fun variety of hand crafted cards.

What a STUNNING collection this O Holy Night paper is!

This is such a fun way to feature the full collection, don't you think?

Keep the fun going... here a Fun Fold allows for multiple greetings within a card.  

My Recipe... Let's Create!

~  Scoring the Thick Basic White card stock at 4-1/4", cutting it at 5-1/2".

~  Misty Moonlight cardstock at 7-5/8"x5-1/4", scored at 3-3/4"

~  Emboss with the stunning Distressed Tile embossing folder on half.

~  Die-Cut with the second largest Deckled Circle a Basic White card stock.

~  Cut the O Holy Night Designer Series Paper at 1" strips and adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and adhere the strips in a fun pattern.

~  Cut it in half at 2-3/4".

~  Emboss and Die Cut, with the Stars at Night bundle the Distressed Gold paper.

~  Adhere the Misty Moonlight card to the back of the card, in a hug!!

~  Adhere the circle half and distressed stars to the front with Stampin' Dimensional Adhesive.

~  Stamp the inside with Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy inks.

This may be taking it to the next level with a variety of techniques, papers and looks... I just love how it spices up this hand crafted Christmas card.
