Welcome Home hand-crafted card

Celebrate those in your life from the loss of their presence to the excitement of a new home.. saying Good-Bye is hard to do (with Facebook it's easier to keep in touch).  When friends of ours were given the opportunity to have a dream job.. we were sad to see them go.  Their dream home is a beauty but across the nation from us.  Here is the hand-crafted card I created for them that 'housed' some of our love.

This is an extra larger card - folding the Crumb Cake card stock in half it's a 4-1/4"x11" card!  
Punch Art is a fun way to look at your punches in a new way.  Create something fun and different with it.  Punch the windows and door using the 1" Square Punch on the Cherry Cobbler card stock.  

Emboss it in the Brick Wall Embossing Folder in the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine.  You'll need to do it twice - once for the top and the bottom.

Add some curtain and glass to those 'windows' with the Venetian Lace Trim and the White Vellum Card Stock.
Trim down the end of the Cherry Cobbler so that the 'roof' will peek through of the embossed Crumb Cake card stock base.  Add Dimension and depth using the Stampin' Dimensional adhesive. 
I love the embossed 'roof' on the inside of the hand-crafted card.  Stamp this fun two-part sentiment from the Happy Happenings stamp set.  Accent with the Heart (from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack) and the Gold Glimmer Paper. 
Rheana is a genuine beauty inside and out.  I love her warm, loving and calm spirit.  Her hubby is a great guy and race car driver.  He assisted my son with a report on the Lotus race cars and was a great example to my impressionable son.  We will miss them and their family!!
A fun banner flag across the front.  The Banner Triple Punch makes it so easy to do!  Using my Bone Folder I 'waved' the banner across the home.  It comes together with such love for this amazing family!!

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by.
