Tips for Using the Precision Base Plate
If you like detailed die cuts, you're going to love our new Precision Base Plate (item 139684) from this year's holiday catalog. The steel plate gives you extra-fine cuts with minimal effort and makes you look like a paper crafting pro!
To preserve your cutting pad and produce optimal results, please use the Precision Base Plate with the Multipurpose Platform, not the Magnetic Platform. The manufacturer also recommends that you (1) flip your cutting pad and use the opposite side after every use; and (2) avoid cutting in the exact same place every time, especially when using the same die repeatedly.
We hope you'll have fun with this great new product!
