I created this card, inspired by a piece of stained glass that I have in my craft room. Dragonflies have a special meaning to me, not just because I love nature. Create this dragonfly friendship card by:
~ Stamp your saying from the new Dragonfly Dreams stamp set in our Occasions Catalog (this stamp set and coordinating thinlits dies are so lush!).
~ Stamp these little dots from the stamp set on the corner of the Whisper White card stock.
~ Die Cut this strip of flying dragonflies from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies (that bundles with this coordinating stamp set - saving me a bonus 10%) on the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine. The Precision Base Plate helps to create a sharp cut for detailed designs like this.
~ Using the Big Shot Die Brush to eliminate any bits and pieces.
~ Adhere the piece of the Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper behind the hand-stamped piece of the Whisper White card stock with Stampin' Dimensional adhesive for depth. Add four Stampin' Dimensional pieces to the back four corners so that it holds across the front of the Thick Whisper White card stock.
~ Use Glue Dots on the die-cut dragonflies to the front of the card and Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper. This will help the wings to pop up and gives a fun dimensional/stained glass look to this hand crafted card.
~ Adhere to the front of the Thick Whisper White card stock (I like to have a long type card for a longer design like this so I score at 5-1/2" and cut at 4-1/4").

I'm so blessed to have some amazing friends in my life. This handmade card is ideal to celebrate those amazing people in my life. I love that it easy to create (being a busy mom of 6, lol, I need easy!). Inspired by my piece of dragonfly stained glass, this is one of my favorite blues and pops with the white.
