Pretty flowers hand-crafted card

Part of the creative process is my trying things out. The fun thing with crafting is that the look of a project can change so easily with the colors you use.  On my first layout this card is still so pretty on the Melon Mambo card stock base.  I often ask the advise of my crafting friends and husband.  Hubby was all about the pink base. 

 Adding Sparkle.. a subtle but oh so pretty sparkle is easy to add.  Use the Wink of Stella in clear (or gold depending on the project).  After water-coloring this image in with the Blushing Bride and Melon Mambo inks and Aqua Painter - I topped it off with slight outlines of the Clear Wink of Stella for  a WOW element.
I was leaning towards the Whisper White Thick card stock base when Ashley was in a text conversation with me at the same time as my hubby.  I love that she has a great eye for color and style.  Like me, she believed both colors worked, the white just made the flower pop more.  (Thanks Ashley!!)  I offered both color choices at the card making class and all went with the white card.
 Inspired by a gift of the most beautiful flower I've ever seen, this card was a nod and gift for a friend who's beautiful inside and out!

This is the Climbing Cactus!  A stunning, vibrantly colorful flower from a plant that looks mundane.  I couldn't capture the full, breathtaking, awe-inspiring look to this card but I enjoyed a nod to it.  This flower is massive in color and size!

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by.
