Vroom, vroom.. I'm a girl who loves motorcycles. I always have. My mom was a Harley chick even. My husband is Italian and dreams of a Vespa while I dream of Harleys - lol. Today I had the most wonderful lunch and crafting session with a dear lady named Ina. We discussed this very technique with her beloved granddaughter (who's my daughter's age). Water-coloring is just so much fun, forgiving, easy and yet creates a dynamic result.
This card is fun and easy to create:
~ Punch with the 2" circle punch a piece of sticky-note (making sure the adhesive part is part of the punched circle).
~ Stamp this awesome motorcycle in the Black Archival ink pad on the Watercolor paper*.
~ Cover partially with the punched sticky circle creating a masked moon/sun.
~ While closed, squeeze the Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron and Old Olive ink pads to create a palate of ink.
~ Using the Aqua Painter to paint this sunset/sunrise over the stamped motorcycle (the circle will help create the moon/sun image).
~ Layer the watercolor paper (*it's thicker and has more texture so you need to push a bit harder when stamping on it) over the black card stock.
~ Stamp this sentiment on the Pumpkin Pie card stock with the Black Archival ink pad.
~ Adhere this framed looking handcrafted image.
