Batman Punch Art hand made card

Create and send a handmade Super Hero to your loved ones with this easy hand crafted card.  At our recent Soldier Card Making Fundraiser we created Super Hero themed handmade cards for our Deployed Soldiers to send home to their children.  We raised almost $700 and created 175 Super Hero cards like this one!  See how you, too, can create a card to your own Super Hero!

Punch art cards... they are so much fun!  Taking what would normally be one thing and turning it on it's head to create something anew... it is so much fun!  Here the new Pocket Die creates one of the coolest Masked Hero!

~  Create a Gotham type sky-line with our In the City new HOSTESS Stamp Set (I adore it!!) with Black Archival ink pad.
~  Die-Cut the Pocket Die in Black card stock.
~  Die-Cut the White half circles from the Pocket Die set.
~  Cut a 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" black square.
~  Cut the square in 1/2 with our Paper Snips at a diagonal.
~  Cut a 3" x 3" piece of the new In-Color Powder Pink card stock.
~  Use the side of the die-cut Pocket scraps to create a cut mouth.
~  Assemble with the pocket laying flat, the bat-ears and shapes using the Glue Dots.
~  Layer over the Smoky Slate sky-line stamped card stock.
Smirk, Cape or not - you decide!  With so many women helping out (over 15) we had a blast seeing how each person viewed Batman.  Which is YOUR Favorite?  Leave a comment and let me know.

I love that we are sending this Batman (and his pals) to our Deployed Soldiers and Ronald McDonald House!  When we created so many (and my Gettin' Crafty Stampin' Family stayed after to create even more) and had the pleasure of sending a majority of these to the two Deployed Troops we support, sending part of these to our local Ronald McDonald House as well (as they support local families fighting a different type of battle).  Join US at our upcoming card making classes, where we create and connect over card making and crafting.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations.
