It has been a rough week. Tragedy and loss has hit our country, again. The Las Vegas attack has hit close to home, in so many ways. With friends who have lost family members in our area, these moms leave behind children and heartbreak. At our Coffee and Cards class this handmade Celebrate Life card was designed to uplift.
During our Coffee and Card Making at Ragamuffin, while our table was full of women and coffee we gathered around one who received a text that her friend didn't make it. The loss was devastating. Having others to hold hands with, hug, cry, commiserate and pray with helped, even just a little. It is what we do, walking through life together, helping one another carry the burdens, loss and celebrating joys.

Another friend's daughter was in Las Vegas and missing, having found her hours later - safe, the family celebrated this blessing. I slipped this card to my friend yesterday, joining in a small way, in the celebration of her daughter's life.

~ Stamping the Saying from the Colorful Season* stamp set on the Color Theory Designer Series Paper* in Old Olive ink.
~ Stamp the solid leaf with the Crushed Curry ink.
~ Stamp over the Leaf with the veined leaf in Old Olive ink with this 2-Step stamping technique.
~ Add sparkle with the Clear Wink of Stella glitter pen.
~ Add the coordinating Glitter Enamel Dots around the card in it's fun ombre look.
~ Adhere together with the Fast Fuse* adhesive.
