Margarita and a view handmade card

Today I raise my glass to you... on National Margarita Day!  With our upcoming Crafting Cruise in Ensenada, Mexico, I'm working and prepping, checking my lists, designing and having fun!  With our Land Lovers Getting Crafty Retreat in Big Bear Lake.. we are having a month of crafting, celebrating and escaping!

Create a sea side scene even in the midst of winter! 
~  Using the Seasonal Thinlits die-cut these two Adirondack chairs in the Berry Bliss Color Theory Designer Series Paper.
~  Die Cut a chair in the Wood Texture Designer Series Paper, trim it down and turn the chair upside down to create a table!
~  Cut the Dapper Denim Color Theory Designer Series Paper to 3-3/4".
~  Die Cut the darker end twice to create these darker waves with the Seasonal Layers thinlits.
~  Layer over the lighter ombre piece of the Dapper Denim with Glue Dots and the darkest over that with the Stampin' Dimensional adhesive.
~  Layer this over the Crumb Cake card stock (4" x 5-1/4") with Glue Dots.
~  Adhere the Wood Texture Designer Series Paper over the bottom and apply the table to it with Rolled Glue Dots.
~  Apply the Wink of Stella Glimmer Brush to the waves.
~  Die Cut the Crushed Curry Color Theory Designer Series Paper with the fun little drink cups and apply Wink of Stella (because drinks sparkle - lol).  
~  Top the table off with these cups and apply the chairs over this.
~  Stamp the Color Theory yellow piece with the Dapper Denim (in-color) ink and punch out with the 2" Circle Punch.
 Apply for a lovely sun scene, waves crashing and a drink in hand.... 
I can't wait for our next Crafting Road Trip!  Our Getting Crafty Retreats are a blast, so much fun and adventures!

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations.
