With our Snow Front stamp set, the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set, our Watercolor Pencils (in this card) and ink pads/sponges (in the next card)... you can see the difference in style while creating!
~ On a 3" piece of Whisper White card stock, use the Watercolor Pencils in the Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler.
~ Highlight the Center of this piece of paper with the lightest color, the Crushed Curry.
~ Build each color, even overlapping, with Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler.
TOOL TIP: Color with the SHAPE of the paper or image.
~ Use the Wink of Stella to blend the colors, starting with the center/lightest color and working your way out.
**NOT a Stampin' Up! Product**
Using a Foundation Make-Up Brush, from the Dollar Tree, I blend the colors on the page for a smoother look.
~ Stamp the Tree from the Snow Front stamp set in Garden Green ink on the center.
~ Stamping the frame with the smaller trees all around the image.
~ Stamp the Itty Bitty Christmas greeting in the Garden Green ink on the bottom of the card.
~ Embellish with the Take Your Pick tool and the Star Designer Elements and the Gold Metallic Pearls.
~ With Stampin' Dimensional Adhesive adhere the 4" square Monster's Bash Designer Series Paper to the Crushed Curry card stock, then do the same with this colorful scene.
The Foundation Brush I bought from the Dollar Tree.

A soft and more controlled coloring, I just love this uniquely colored Christmas card.
Inky fingers.. probably, lol. Creating the SAME Scene with our Ink Pads and Stampin' Sponges is easy.
~ I cut my Stampin' Sponges into wedges for easier holding (my nerve damage in my arms limits the hand ability).
~ Starting the same way, with the lightest to darkest color, sponge the Crushed Curry ink into the center, build out with the Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler inks.
~ BLEND, Blend, blend..
~ Using the Wink of Stella, cover the image and blend out the colors.
~ Finish with the Foundation Make Up brush*.
(*See Above image.)
~ Stamp in the center, taller tree in Garden Green ink.
~ Stamping the three smaller trees over and over around to create this fun frame.

I find that I have more saturation of color with less control. The colors are very intense.
