Blending Brushes Sunset Trick handmade card making technique

Create a stunning sunset/sunrise that WOW's using our Blending Brushes with this simple but shimmery technique wiht the Garden Wishes Bundle in this video tutorial. A simple addition will aide in your blending of colors to be smooth and soft while shimmering. The contrast of Crumb Cake card stock and ink is a great way to highlight the colors of this handmade card.

Embrace the beauty and ease of the Blending Brushes while adding shimmer with our Frost White Shimmer Paint.

~ Cutting off 1.5" of the Crumb Cake card stock (originally 4.25"x5.5") then trim off another inch.

~ Using a pencil to mark the negative space on the Basic White card front (scored at 4.25", cut at 5.5").

~ Using the Blending Brush, apply the Frost White shimmer paint to the card front.

~ Apply the in-color inks of Bumble Bee, Terracotta Tile and Rococo Rose ink pads with a Blending Brush for each ink pad specifically.

~ Stamp off the Crumb Cake ink on the Crumb Cake cardstock then stamp again for a soft image of color on color dandelion.

~ Die-Cut using the Cut and Emboss Machine and coordinating dies.

~ Stamp the greeting in Crumb Cake ink on the Crumb Cake card stock.

~ Adhere the Crumb Cake cardstock down with Stampin' Seal adhesive.

~ Adhere with Stampin' Dimensional adhesive the die-cut Dandelion.

~ Stamp the inside to continue the feel of this handcrafted card.
