Water coloring is On-Trend in the art community... for me, it's priceless and timeless! I can totally do a fun tutorial online but I find it much ore soothing and easy to simply do, what I call, an 'Invisible' water coloring technique. This gorgeous Stampin' Up! Blessings of Home Bundle is PERFECT with the floral images to use and the greetings. See the Video Tutorial of our LIVE, below, as we create together. A handmade card is simply elevated with this mini art like craft attached.

Creating a water color piece can be fun... but I find that if I'm just looking to create with little effort - this Invisible Water Coloring technique is much more preferred. With this 'cheat' it is easier than ever to create a hand crafted card that looks more like art that I painted from scratch. See the TIPS on how to best do this in the video above. This is beyond soothing and inspiring me to create more while soothing my busy life.
~ Using the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper is IDEAL for this technique... simply cutting it in half at the 3.5" mark.
~ Stamping the flower in Soft Sea Foam ink and stamping it off on the back is the first step, before stamping it again across the front of this lush paper.
~ With our Water Painters and the Sahara Sand, So Saffron, Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron inks you can add levels of depth and color.
~ Blend OUT the softly stamped ink and use the stamp to your side as you color for a reference... such a soft ink can be challenging to see and that image will surely help.
~ Add SPARKLE and color with our Wink of Stella glitter brush (Have a piece of paper under to catch the splatter. Picking up ink and splattering the colorful sparkle for extra fun is easy to do!)
~ Adhesive, with Stampin' Dimensionals, over Mint Macaron card stock (3-3/4"x5-1/4") and 0ver So Saffron card stock (scored at 4-1/4", cut at 5-1/2").
~ Stamp the greeting in the Balmy Blue ink on a 1" strip of the So Saffron card stock - softening this with our Water Painters.
~ Add a fun BONUS Sparkle with these IN-Color Rhinestones using our Take Your Pick Tool.
