Gate Fold Fun Fold Card Stampin’ Up! with a Surprise

I am originally from California, where there as been a recent deluge of serious rain. The blessing is that they've had a serious drought for years. The upset is that the sheer amount of rain and that CA is not prepared EVER for this results in massive flooding, mudslides and more.

When, recently, my dear friend Bonnie (and her mom Juanita and sister Connie) lost their brother/son... I wanted to send them a little love and sunshine. This card came to mind and was created at our recent LIVE on Facebook.com/GettingCrafty.net or YouTube.com/c/JamieAlbanese .

What a JOY it is to create a hand crafted card with a purpose, and one to send some love to some amazing people. This is a fun card that is actually a SUPRISE hand stamped fun fold card.

~ Score the Balmy Blue on the 8-1/2" side at 2-1/8" on each side.

~ Cut it at 5-1/2" on the 11"side.

~ 2 Basic Grey 1-7/8"x5-1/4"

~ 2 Rain Paper at 1-3/4"x5-1/8"

~ Regular Basic White card stock at 4"x11, scored at 5-1/2", folded and trimmed (see our LIVE).

~ Flower Field Piece at 3-3/4"x 5"

Closing the Gate Fold, Fun Fold card and adding the inside piece is easier than ever!

It will close and open from the rain to the beautiful fields.

Stamping the Playing in the Rain greeting in Basic Grey ink on the front of this beautiful paper.

Stamp the clouds on the inside of the white with the Balmy Blue ink.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by.
