The beauty of Water Coloring is raised a few levels with these techniques.
~ Using the Shimmery White card stock as the base, stamp the flowers in Jet Black Stazon Ink.
~ Using the Wink of Stella glimmer brush in the Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and Mossy Meadow watercolor the image (see the video for tips and tricks with this) for EXTRA Shimmer and Sparkle.
~ Stamping the greeting with the Petal Pink and Stazon on the Shimmery White.
TOOL TIP: With this STUNNING VELLUM Basics I wanted it to cover the FULL Card Front (over the Basic Black and Favored Flowers as well as the Petal Pink card stock base). So I cut the Card Base DOWN to 4"x11", scored at 5-1/2"
~ Create this with Basic Black card stock at 3-3/4"x5-1/4" and Favored Flowers at 3-1/2"x5" with the Vellum Basics polka dot at 4"x5-1/2".
TOOL TIP: With Vellum, you need to HIDE the adhesive. See the Video Tutorial on HOW to do so.
Having planted HUNDREDS of Bulbs this year... I am enjoying Winter but loving the idea of Spring and the many blooms due. This dress and image captured my idea of what a beautiful Spring Sunday could look like. I just knew it was inspiring me to PLAY and Create!!

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations.
