Kindred Spirits

So near 9 years ago I was active in my local MOMS Club where I met a collection of women that I still call dear and close friends!  I also started my Stampin' Up! business in order to receive the generous discount.  I signed up two weeks before giving birth to my daughter.  So today was a day that joined my past with my present. 

 

My best friend was who encouraged and supported my crafting addiction.  She loved my crafting classes - we would often create together weekly as our kiddos played.  These days she lives in Texas and I'm in California.. but my Kate - she's my Kindred Spirit and a Sister that God gave me... so today we drove down to see her as she was visiting her in-laws. 

A true friend knows your heart.  She encourages, supports and tells you the truth (even when it sucks - lol).  Kate's angels and two of mine were a year apart from each other and all four with February birthdays.  My kiddos celebrated the first few birthdays in joint parties with Kate's.  So with 10 years of friendship, our angels growing up, life happening and thankfully Iphones that allow for often contact...
