Mercury Glass and Hydrangea, Blending Brush WOW handmade card making technique

 Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers - so much so that we had it at our wedding!  When you want to create a DYNAMIC, High Shine handmade card - you grab this Hydrangea Hill Suite Collection!  Creating a Free-Floating Mercury Glass TWO TONED handmade card is a sure fire way to show that someone special SHINES in your book!  Embrancing the Shimmer Paint and Blending Brushes for a wow hydrangia that will continue the high-shine love!  See the full Video Tutorial with tips and tricks below.

    Create a Mercury Glass and Hydrangea, Blending Brush WOW handmade card making techniquel.

    This is so much fun!  Take your Blending Brushes to the NEXT Level with the Frosted White Shimmer Paint!

    ~  Score the 4"x12" Rococo Rose Mercury Glass Acetate at 5-1/2" and 11".
    ~  Using a Bone Folder FIRMLY impress the embossed edges.
    ~  REMOVE the 'protective film' on the Silver side. 
    ~  Adhere the Silver back with Mini Glue Dots.
    ~  Using the Seaside Spray ink and a Blending Brush, blend a soft area on the Basic White card stock.
    ~  Repeat with the Frosted White Shimmer Paint.
    ~  Die-cut with the Hydrangea dies this area and a full background, as well as in Old Olive the stem.
    ~  Fluff the die-cut flowers with the Misty Moonlight ink pad and Blending Brush. (Do the flower part of the base as well.)
    ~~This creates a two toned look - just like a real hydrangea!~~
    ~  Roll mini glue dots to adhere the base together.
    ~  Using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to raise the two toned flower and adhere with the same on the Mercury Glass.
    ~  Cut two Basic White card stocks at 3-3/4"x5".
    ~  Blend the Seaside Spray and stamp in Misty Moonlight the flowers and greeting from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set inside.
    ~  Adhere to the inside of the card with Mini Glue Dots.
    ~  Adhere the coordinating Seaside Spray pearls to the card front.
    WOWWW with this high-shine, beautiful handmade card! 
    Shine with the Mercury Glass in TWO Colors!
    Shine MORE with the Blending Brush Fosty White Shimmer Paint!

    OK so I am sooo not a Halloween girl.. I like Fall and Harvest festivals.. we even do a kid and safe Trunk or Treat at our church (my trunks are known to win lol).  This year, Stampin' Up! has created the CUTEST Halloween Suite that ties back to TV Shows of my youth!  It's actually made me want to have a Halloween class (umm - Join us Oct 26th!).  Creating with the Tidings All Around bundle, this video tutorial will give you a fun and unique gift to create.

    An easy and fun gift to create, gift or mail.. this combines to create a little seasonal decoration as well!  
    ~  Die-Cutting the All Around Wreath Dies in Basic Black card stock and our Mercury Glass sheets.
    ~  Scoring the Crumb Cake on our Simply Scored board at 3" and 5-1/2" on the 11" side.
    ~  Cut at 4-1/4" on the 8-1/2" side.
    ~  Bone Fold the lines to create an Easel Card.
    ~  Adhere the Basic Black card stock (4"x 5-1/4") to the Monster's Bash Designer Series Paper with our Black Stampin' Dimensionals.
    ~  Adhere this to the 3" side of the card front with more Stampin' Black Dimensionals.
    ~  Adhere the wreath together and to the card front with the mini version (it's a Combo Pack so YAY!).
    ~  Using the Take Your Pick Tool, apply our adhesive backed Rhinestones to the wreath.
    ~  Stamping the inside with the 'Tis the Season in Memento Black ink*.
    *Tool Tip:  This is a photo-polymer stamp set.  To achieve the BEST stamped results, use a Stampin' Pierce Mat under your stamping.
    ~  Apply Rhinestones to surround the inside greeting.
    ~  Add the sticky 3" notes to the inside of the card.  
    What a fun and seasonal gift to gift at work, school, neighbors or to mail!

    If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now.
