First Edition Vintage Butterfly

Vintage is fun, classic and yet trendy!
This card is FULL of Soon-To-Retire* products and colors while embracing the Trend of Vintage!
Having fun with the ladies in my Parks and Rec class can be the highlight of my week!  This card was from a style request by Julie and I love the result!  Our Baja Breeze* card stock (#111352) makes for a soft background.  Our First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper (#121878) layers for a beautiful design.

Stamping the Swallowtail (#129213) background stamp with our Baja Breeze* ink (#126960) for a subtle but classic look. 

Once layered with SNAIL adhesive (#104332) run this (while open) through the Big Shot (#113439) and the beautiful Elegant Lines* Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#119227).  The lines mimic the stamped butterfly, oh so elegant!
Beautiful Wings (#118138) embosslits and my Big Shot... these Baja Breeze embossed and die cut butterflies are the perfect accent to this card!
It's EASY to look amazing!  Our coordinating ribbons, papers, inks and accessories do all the work!  Here I fringed the edges on one side of our Baja Breeze* Seam Binding (#122331) and pulled a couple of the lose string... it will pull up and ruffle just like so! 

(Shhh - don't want the struggle for your fingers?  Coat the back of the ribbon with SNAIL adhesive and then wrinkle as you lay it down.  Easy and looks very similar!)

Adding the Victoria 5/8" Crochet Trim in a loop is easy and vintage in look.  Accenting it with our Antique Brads (#117273) layered over our our Subtles Designer Buttons* (#119745) for another coordinated elegant accessory!
 The 5/8" Vanilla Flower Trim* (Spring Mini #126869) is the epitome of vintage elegance and rubbing it in the Baja Breeze* ink for a two-tone monochromatic look!

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations.
