Pink Boots

Do you ever look at your kids in sheer amazement.. think how 'bootiful' they are?!?!  My 5 year old has a slight mispronunciation of words and yes, this is how she says 'beautiful'.  So when my 2 year old was sporting her 11th outfit of the day and finally a pair of matching hot pink boots (all while she was sick - lol).  So I decided to give a nod to my little angel with this fun card.

Pairing Elegant Eggplant with Melon Mambo (thanks to my Color Coach #130118) for a fun combo. 
OK try to pinch those sweet cheeks.  The boots are the kicks, aren't they?!?!  Yes she pulled together her own outfit - over n over allllll day... lol.
These boots have survived her older sisters and now her... lol.  a little rough around the edges but oh so FUN!!  (We should, all, have a fun pair of Hot Pink Boots!)
Stamping this Bootiful Occasions (#126597) in Elegant Eggplant ink (#126969) on Very Vanilla card stock (#101650).  Using my Aqua Painter (#103954) in my Melon Mambo ink (#126948) for a fun irregular colored in look (kind of the boots my baby girl is wearing).
Add Dimension!  This Elegant Eggplant card stock (#105126) kicks it up a notch with our Labels Collection (#125598) for this perfectly layered label. The Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine *(#113439) and Big Shot Magnetic Platform* (#130658) make it easy and fun to create these perfect layers! The Melon Mambo card stock (#115320) frames the hot pink Melon Mambo boot.  Using the Stampin' Dimensional adhesive (#104430) to raise the boot. 
 
Kick it up a notch when you use this stunning, shining Silver 1/8" ribbon (#132137 Holiday pg. 28) tied in a sassy bow.   Add BLING, (sparkle like my girls do) adhesive backed Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) in varying sizes to accent these fun stars and sentiment.

Go ahead!  Sparkle, Shine and Kick Up Yer Heels!!  Celebrate life!  Now... to find Hot-Pink Boots and some sparkles... lol.  I'm off to see about tackling this little girl's massive pile of laundry (lol).  I hope that your day is full of kick-butt moments while sparkling and shining.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by.
