With a Sahara Sand card stock base (#121043) and our New Circle Thinlits Card Die (#133480), Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine* (113439), Big Shot Magnetic Platform* (#130658) for this moving, fun card.
Video Tutorial on HOW to create this card with a cute hidden panel:
Pairing colors is easier than ever with our super-hero Color Coach (#130118) a must have tool for any crafter. Here it paired Sahara Sand with Pear Pizzazz and Early Espresso. Stamping this log from the Open Sea stamp set (#123032) with Sahara Sand ink (#126976) on this Sahara Sand card stock (#121043) for a neutral, warm base. Stamping this ship stamped with Early Espresso ink (#126974), using my Aqua Painter (#103954) and Pear Pizzazz ink (#131180) for a cool vintage look.
Stamping this world on the center of the circle with Versa Mark (#102283) and covering with Early Espresso embossing powder (#128980) to heat set with our Heat Tool (#129053) for this raised, shiny globe. The Aqua Painter and Pear Pizzazz ink add depth and texture and age. Soften the edges with our Stampin' Sponges (#101610) and Early Espresso ink for additional softening and aging.
Tied together with our Natural Linen Thread (#104199) for a rustic, nautical look. Adding a dash of Hot Glue to the back of this card, to keep it on while allowing the card to open and be re-tied when desired.
I'm purchasing tickets for a upcoming trip to New Orleans... so I couldn't resist incorporating these Early Espresso inked That's the Ticket (#128075)stamp set images of vintage tickets on Pear Pizzazz card stock (#131201).
Our Ticket Duo Builder punch (#126883) allows for these to pop out with ease! Softening the edges with our Early Espresso ink and Stampin' Sponges for softened and vintage edges.
This gives a little of an eerie edge... perfect for Halloween - lol... like a ghost ship (reminds me of Goonies, lol). I didn't use the Happy Halloween stamp but the ticket would work.
Closed it has a cool look and when open - it has a secret panel to write.
I try to post daily and hope you will come back often - bring some friends with you!! I'm so glad you came by today.
