Join me in this fun and personalized gift for a wonderful person!!

OK so our beloved Zia Antoinette (Aunt in Italian) is one of my favorite people!  So when we were invited to Celebrate her 65th birthday... I knew I had to create something Personal that will be appreciated by someone who has everything she could possibly need.

This Personalized Dry Erase Board is an ideal gift!!
Start with this vintage Etcetera Designer Series Paper (#130129) for an elegant base.
OK so a fun vintage accent is our Tea Lace Paper Doilies (#129399) that are white (and 24 in a pkt!).

Taking our Stampin' Spritzer (126185) and adding a few drops from my Crumb Cake ReInker (#121029) and fill the remaining with water.

Over my sink (this can be messy, use a container if you don't want to use your sink) and spray the doily on the front and the back.

I then allowed it to dry while hanging over the water spout - this allows for the 'aging' to darken in the edges as it pools there... a fun way to add depth and dimension.

Once it's try I stamped this sentiment from Trust God (#126702) in Baked Brown Sugar ink (#131174).  It's on a softer, more vintage looking doily... adding this dash of sparkle with the Dazzling Details (#124117).  Adding Ruffle that coordinates with the Baked Brown Sugar Ruffled Ribbon (#130022) and I even wrapped it in this ribbon with a wet-erase pen in brown attached for a pretty and elegant accent.
This patterned piece of paper has these elegant ladies on it.  We couldn't resist adding a little 'love'!!  Taking my Champagne Glimmer Paper (#127885) and the new Expressions Thinlits Dies (Holiday pg.36 132171) utilizing the 'Love' sentiment, my Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine* (#113439), Magnetic Platform (#130658) and Paper-Piercing Tool (#126189).
This Rose is already on the paper in Baked Brown Sugar... so adding a dash of elegant lace with our Victoria Crochet Trim (#118481) in a sweet bow.
Zia lost her husband and has fought some health challenges for most of her life... yet look at how amazing she looks!!  Far from her 65 years.. and she's excited about an upcoming trip to Italy!
I'm loving that you came by today!  Visit often, I try to post daily... bring your friends and family along, too!!  Grab a frame that speaks to you and join me in the paper crafting fun.

Pulled together, this Dry Erase board was a HIT with Zia and the family... a perfect fit in her style and elegance!! She's one fly dame... could have been in a Frankie Avalon movie....  Celebrating and Creating this personalized gift was a joy and received so well!!  So make a lasting impression... creating something shows that you know and love them and that's a gift in it's own!  So as she uses this board over and over... I'm sure she'll think of us!!

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
