Vintage is so New!  I love a beautiful nod to the days of old.  Here a soft and different take on this *soon-to-retire Apothecary Art stamp set is unique with this simple technique.  With this beautiful combination of simple techniques you deliver a trendy but vintage hand-crafted birthday card.

Create this softened, vintage birthday card with:

Water-coloring can happen on regular card stock but will have a better image using the Watercolor Paper.  Here the image will have a damp, slightly blurred image when you ink the stamp with the Sahara Sand ink pad then (holding it away from your crafting area) lightly spritz it with water using our fine mist Stampin' Spritzer.
Your spritzed image will take on that softened, vintage hand-stamped look.
Stamping it on the Watercolor Paper will absorb the excess water and hold up to the excess of moisture.  I did the same thing with the sentiment.
Die Cut this stamped image with the coordinating and *soon-to-retire Labels Collection Framelits in yourBig Shot Magnetic Platform and Die-Cutting Machine.  I will miss this stamp set (and hoard it for my private collection!!).  Score this stamp set before they are GONE!
Layered over the stunning ribbon, the adhesive backed Pearl Jewels and Very Vintage buttons add a whimsical accent to the card.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now.
